In 2014 Bill and Terri started Baker Technologies Inc. 
Their goal was to design and build the best and strongest stormwater and retention pond guards for risers commonly called “the trash rack.” BTI has historically been a manufacturer focused on perfecting products with specialized alloys supplied directly from aluminum mills.

Bill developed his keen eye for aluminum fabrication skills first by designing and building tuna towers, tee tops, and railing for offshore fishing boats in West Palm Beach, where only the highest standards are accepted.   

After moving to NC and starting in the stormwater business, he was determined to develop and manufacture his product with the same quality and craftsmanship.

Bill focuses solely on production, and he collaborates with a sales and marketing firm, Stormwater Concepts, to introduce his product to the industry.

 At the beginning of 2024, Bill was inspired to grow and expand. He brought The Bruton’s - a family with combined backgrounds in construction, manufacturing, custom design, and customer service - on board to streamline an already successful business.

 The values of the Baker and the Bruton families blend nearly seamlessly regarding work ethics and high standards. 

Our motto is: Whatever the customer needs, we will do our best to make it happen, all with excellence in craftsmanship and a Christ-like attitude. 

We have invested in design, innovative processes, and manufacturing techniques to bring a stronger, more economical product to the stormwater industry. We are also moving our sales and marketing team internally to serve our customers better, and we have a customer service team to handle on-site demands.
